REPORT THE ACCIDENT TO THE POLICE

If the incident involved a motor vehicle, you should report it to the police. In many cases, the driver is legally required to stop, exchange details, and report the accident. If they fail to do so, report the incident yourself. Always obtain a crime reference number.

DOCUMENT EVERYTHING

Use your mobile phone to photograph the scene, your scooter damage, any road defects or hazards, your injuries, skid marks, and the positioning of vehicles. The more evidence you gather at the scene, the stronger your claim will be. Take photos from multiple angles and note the exact location, time, and weather conditions
